You have a point from a certain limited perspective, however in my opinion it should be the the industry’s responsibility to provide PPE that is suitable to the employee’s wearing, not the employee’s responsibility to modify themselves to suit the industry. If an exception can be found for someone’s group religious beliefs around physical appearance then my individual beliefs should be catered for too. Work is not the reason we live. Work is supposed to enrich our lives not impede and restrict it.

I am a beard afficianado btw

Now, there is a plus side here in so far as this PPE situation presents an opportunity for manufacturers to create a device that caters for us bearded types in the construction industry 😬
