I’ve been writing a lot recently about the importance of quiet, of solitude for creative work. It’s an essential and fundamental ingredient. Unfortunately we’ve been hypnotised by the house and static of modern life. Alan Lightman in his book, In Praise of Wasting Time, says we need to shut off 50% of the time in order to keep a healthy mind.

Thanks for writing Niklas
