I’m not sure I agree with that completely. The degree to which I am a perfectionist does influence the outcome however. I like order and process but only if I make it. I don’t like following other people’s design. I like to fuck it up numerous times before Im happy with it. I have to you see because that’s the only way I know it. I like the discovery of it even if from an outside view it appears to be flawed. I am a perfectionist but I realise I am constantly in the making. I do agree that some people allow their notion of perfect to influence what they make, or rather their fear of getting it wrong – That might be more accurate. ultimate perfection can’t be achieved because it if did then the universe would cease to exist, collapse you could say, then reemerge again into something else….
