And it’s not only foodstuffs; appliances and personal technology have built-in obsolescence. Social and other technology apps mine us for our information without our knowledge or consent, and clever financial products make sure providers don’t lose. Corporations exist to make a profit, and that’s fine, but to what extent will you go to achieve that profit?
